Week 7 (11-15/2) is the winter holiday. The holiday where you really need to pamper yourself in the cold season.
That is why we, with a special menu, give our guests the opportunity to do just that. A menu at an affordable price, so you can have e wonderful evening, without damaging the wallet.


  • Compote of smoked flounder with grainy mustard cream, suede, capers and toast Melba
  • Baked haddock and langoustine with herb oil, green cabbage, vegetables and bisque with dill
  • Yoghurt sherbet with cucumber and black pepper
  • Guinea fowl with panade and “Hot” spices, ragout of mushrooms and egg yolk potatoes, tarragon cream sauce
  • Mazarin with bitter orange, white chocolate and pistachio/mint crunch
  • Nougat parfait with caramelized nuts
  • “Apple cake” terrine with crème Chantilly and apple jelly

World Class Music and Top Gastronomy

Once again we give our guests the chance to see one of the greatest guitarists of our time live at Restaurationen.

Thursday 16/4 Georg “Jojje” Wadenius performs with his Cleo at Restaurationen. The evening starts with food and wine and continues with a truly intimate concert. You literally sit on the lap of some of the best musicians in the world.

“Jojje” has played with everybody who is anything in the world of music: Blood, Sweat & Tears, Steely Dan, the Saturday Night Live Band, Luther Vandross, Roberta Flack, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Donald Fagen, Simon & Garfunkel, Joe Thomas, Michael Franks, Joe Henderson, Ronnie Cuber, Backstreet Boys, Dionne Warwick, Dr. John

He is supported by the most skilled and well playing band of all: Per Lindvall, drums, Lars Larry Danielsson, bass, Jesper Nordenström, keyboards. Musicians who, in their own right, all have played with the best in the world.

The evening starts at 18:300 with Champagne and 3 course menu. Aprox. 22:00 the concert starts and throughout the concert, you can buy drinks, wine and beer.

Sunday 19/4 we are going to eat Sunday Lunch together. We´ll meet at 13:00 and it will be a lunch just like at grandmothers

  • Tartelets with henn, button mushrooms in Madeira sauce
  • Steamed salmon with Hollandaise sauce, spinach, fingerling potatoes and dill
  • Othello layer cake with whipped cream

In May and June the Danish asparagus are at their best and that why we have to make an asparagus festival with a 4 course menu where all the dishes are made with asparagus. We serve the menu from 19/5 until and including 6/6.

Book a table well in advance, as lots of our guests love to eat the Danish asparagus.

Sunday 27/9 we are going to eat Sunday Lunch together. We´ll meet at 13:00 and it will be a lunch just like the ones we had in the country side, but a menu that brings back the memory of an old Danish saying that goes:
“We live a life that the peasants never see”

3 courses from the time of real home cooking


  • Cod in mayonnaise on butter toast with capers and dill
  • Veal roast done as venison with braised endive, pommes rissolées and Waldorff salad
  • Tricolore parfait, hot  waffles and whipped cream

The Autumn Holiday in week 42 is in the weather wise unpredictable autumn. Exactly where you really need a bit of pampering. So just like last year, we have chosen to pamper our guests with a special Autumn Holiday event, where you can enjoy a five course menu for a cozy price.

The price for the menu is 350 dkk.

We´ll open up for reservations after the Summer Holiday


We think it is time for a real game menu.
Thus we will be serving a luxury game menu in week 44 (23/10-31/10)


  • Hare terrine with pickles
  • Game consommé “Celestine” with vegetables and parsley
  • Pheasant in truffle sauce with legg/mudsroom tart and pommes Anna
  • Rubinstein cake with pineaple sherbet and blonde raisins

10/11 is Saint Martins Evening and as tradition bids at Restaurationen, we serve our very classic Saint Martins Evening menu:

  • Chicken broth with two kinds of dumplings, vegetables and parsley
  • Goose roast with the whole schabam: Pickled red cabbage, white and caramelized potatoes, turntable sauce and home made pickles
  • Old fashioned apple cake with whipped cream and jelly
