JUST LIKE BO JACOBSEN, LISBETH JACOBSEN HAS DEDICATED HER LIFE TO GASTRONOMY.
After her childhood in Hadsten, she moved to Copenhagen as a young woman, where she started working in the restaurant industry in 1978, the same year as her husband.
She was apprenticed at Hotel Royal and was learnt both cooking and waitressing skills in the early ’80s. In the first couple of years as a trainee, Lisbeth worked at different restaurants, but in 1987 she became a chef at Kommandanten, which was run by her husband, and since then Lisbeth and Bo Jacobsen have run a professional business together, driven by a shared love of craftsmanship and good food.
Since 1991, the married couple Lisbeth and Bo have run Restaurationen together, with Lisbeth taking care of the dessert kitchen, cheeses and pastries, as well as the actual daily management of the restaurant.
Lisbeth is primarily driven by the desire to improve, with the eternal goal that quality must be top class, both in terms of food and service. She is always seeking new tastes, ingredients and opportunities that can develop the restaurant. However, the guests are the key element, and together with Bo, she therefore always strives to create excellent hospitality that can provide the setting for the best taste experiences.
